Dr. Update – the end is near!

I am not 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced. My cervix is really soft and the baby’s head is really engaged. My dr. said that she wouldn’t be surprised if we before our next appointment. She stripped my membrane.

If by my next appointment (next Tues), I have not delivered, we’ll schedule for deliver on Wednesday morning. She doesn’t feel that I need to be induced, rather just soften up the cervix to start the contractions and pumpkin would arrive.

So possible due date = NOW (10/18/2005) but no later than next Wed (10/26/2005)!!! I am grateful to have an end date. I needed an end date so badly. She wouldn’t have had me go beyond my 41st week unless I wanted to go beyond it, which I do NOT!
