Week 9
Ella is now 2 months old. I'm returning back to work this week. Jake is in school (JR-Preschool) and loves it. It's been a great maternity leave with the family. As always I wish I could stay home but bills must be paid.

7, 8, 10 Days
7 days till the Yu's arrive to visit.
8 days till Nanny comes to visit.
10 days till little one arrives.
I'm just glad to be hitting the single digits. That means this is it! No more pregnancies - EVER!!!! YEAH!!!! It feels great to know this is it. I can't wait to have the little one out and to enjoy her.
Jake knows that she's coming. He can comprehend that but I doubt he realizes everything else that will come with it. I don't think we even know ourselves. But she'll be here soon.

24 Days
We're at the final stretch. You forget how uncomfortable one gets that final month. Any position is only good for maybe an hour before something is sore. I'm working at home today and my feet at least doesn't feel like it's going to explode from all the pressure, so that is great. Also wireless helps b/c I can keep switching rooms and positions to not get too sore.
The day is approaching and I can't wait!!!

11 weeks to go
I'm 11 weeks ago and in my last tri - yeah! I failed my initial glucose test so had to do the 3 hour - ugh! But I found out today that I do not have GD. I just have to deal with the anemia (borderline) but that is fine with me.
House is settling. 2 rooms left (baby and our office). We'll wait until our final ultrasound in 32 weeks to make sure we're having a girl before we paint. I like this 3 ultrasound. Poor Jake only had the 2 (6 weeks and 20 weeks). And only 1 picture each.
Nearing the end, which is great. No more pregnancy - yeah!!!!

Settling
Move took us 3 days, or better yet took Tim. Thanks to Alex and Heddie for their help in the heavy lifting. We ended up having to take 3 trips. Tim's parents were around to help us unpack and got our kitchen and bathrooms in order. My Monday we had our bedroom, kitchn and bathrooms set so that I could go to work. I'm sure that everyone over-extended themselves, even me. It's hard not to.
Now it's the unpacking and moving things to the right room. We have time since Turkey Cheese doesn't arrive for another 13 weeks. Slowly Tim is unpacking. I can do very little. My contribution is to make sure we have food and can keep Jake entertained during the weekends.
We're so happy to be settled at our new home and putting a routine together. It's still quite surreal to us that we are living here but we do love our home and look forward to many years in it.

Moving Day
Key in hand, after a very long closing, but keys in hand - we are on our way, sorta. I'm sitting here with Jacob working while Tim is loading as much as he can to the truck. We'll head down tonight or tomorrow then unpack. Tim's parents are coming to help.
Saturday is the rest of the items that Tim could not get to b/c it requires 2 people. Then it's the slow unpack and figuring out where everything goes.
Very exciting. It's hard to not be able to help much but sit or lie down. But Jacob has someone to play with and be entertained, I suppose. We're just so happy to be heading to the new house.

A little sister
We found out that Jake is having a little sister. He wasn't too thrilled when he got the news and asked why he couldn't have a brother. He's adjusted now and knows he's having a sister.
We're 3 1/2 weeks away from closing date. Slowly boxes are emerging from the basement with my assistance from me. It's hard to see things happening and knowing I can't do much to help out. Learning to just let others take over, so hard for me. We are so excited and I know Tim is extra motivated since we're moving to our home.
Warmer weathers coming our way. I have mixed feelings. Glad to get rid of the cold but not thrilled with overheating and bloating. Thankfully it's not the whole summer, just the brutal part.
