Jacob had his first manicure. Not all his nails but a few needed a trim. He scratched his face the other night and when checking his nails, mommy realized he needed a trim. Of course mommy did buy nail clippers but could not find it anywhere! So daddy had to go out and buy a new pair and since now I have this new one I’ll probably stumble across the one that I was frantically looking for, so is life.
Jacob maybe hitting colic b/c he’s been crying every night in the evening for about 3 hours. We hold him, feed him, rock him, sing to him, while noise, swaddle, or whatever else we can do to calm him. It’s around dinner time that he starts to cry. We also think it’s b/c of gas but we’re unsure. We know it doesn’t hurt him and we just have to deal with it. Thank God he sleeps well at night. I know that eventually it will end.

i feel for ya regarding the colic...cadence started being colicky at around 6 weeks, and it lasted a few weeks...i think we were pretty lucky because it wasn't too bad, but it was heartbreaking when she would just cry and cry and there was nothing we could do...i remember i sang a LOT and my arms definitely got a good workout during those evenings...
i will be more than happy to come over and give you guys a break...you guys can get out of the house...take a walk...get a real sit down dinner if you like...take a nap, whatever...go see a movie...
we won't be in the neighborhood for long, so i think you should take me up on this offer. plus i'll bring a meal you can even reheat at a later date. how's turkey meatloaf sound to you?
