Everyday Something New

It’s hard to keep track of everything little J-bird is learning. Each day there’s a new skill or mastery of skill. Let me see what I can recall.

Eating:
If I say “ah” he’ll open his mouth of nod side-to-side if he doesn’t want any.
He is an expert cheerios, cheese, yogurt, fruit, and meat eater.
He’s started to use a sippy cup with water and ice. He loves his water cold, like his aunt HJ.

Moving:
He’s now an expert crawler, moving faster by the day.
He likes to pull himself up on top of chairs.
He loves to walk, as he’s being held, and he’ll guide you to where he’d like to go.
Always pointing at something to touch.

Talks:
He’s constantly talking. His babbles a lot. He’s into copying right now with “uh-huh” , a throaty “hey”, smacking his lips, nah nah nah is his big word of the day.
His top left tooth has made it’s shy appearance the past few days. We expect the other to arrive shortly, so there’s a lot of drooling.

He loves to spin his trucks and cars wheels turn.
He loves to turn pages while reading.

Why haven’t we posted? We’ve been so busy trying to keep up with the little one. We can no longer just leave him in a sitting position and walk away. He’ll just follow you. Since he’s starting to stand we have to be there so that he doesn’t trip and fall (too often). It’s also so nice outside so we take every opportunity to be out there.
