Blood Drawn

This morning I went in for my 1 hour glucose test. You have to drink this sweet orange drink in 5 minutes and wait for an hour before they draw your blood. This is phase 1 of the test. If I pass, then no further testing is required and I do not have gestational diabetes. If I fail, then I have to go in for a 3 hour test. If I fail this then it means I have gestational diabetes, which means a strict diet, possible medication or insulin – depending on my levels. I won’t know the results until my next dr. appointment which isn’t until July 25th.
