We've been doing a lot of walking with our little man. This is a cute picture at my parents where my dad is walking with Jacob. Over the weekend at my sister's baby shower he decided to show off by walking (without any prompting or anyone behind him) in front of everyone. There were other kids there (toddlers) and we think b/c they were walking, it prompted him to want to walk.
When I got home from work, Tim told me that he'd been walking on his own accord for about 45 minutes and he even showed off to me. It's cute b/c he's standing there slowly taking a step and looking at us with this huge smile. We enourage encourage encourage him as much as possible. He's definitely in the upright position!
Verbally he's just yappying away! He recognizes and says the letter S, B, M, and A. Is that really possible? He really knows the letter S. He loves to look at signs and point them out.
He also make animal sounds. Cow goes moo. Horse goes nay. Cat goes meow. Sheep goes ba. Rooster goes cockadoodle (his sounds more like "doodle doodle"). Snake goes hiss. Dog goes arf. Bear goes grrr.
