Pumpkin is now 11.75 inches (head to rump) or 18 inches (including toes). He’s around 3.5 pounds and is the length of a Madeline doll.
We’ve slowly started on the emergency bag and over the several weeks we’ll start to put more stuff in it. I have 2 bags, one for me and one for the baby. Of course if we forget anything Tim or someone can get it from the house, since we’ll be a mile away from the hospital. It’s comforting to know that we’ll be so close to home. Even our drive home won’t be too long.

you will appreciate the short drive home! i wish i'd delivered closer to our apt! lake shore drive was PAINFUL! every. little. bump...and there were many many of those on good old LSD...
yes...my drive was an hour or so. we should have prepared more, but i thought, "what the hey...i could send jae home on an errand if he starts to irritate me during labor." tee-hee hee.
