Information Overload
We attended the birthing class at the hospital on Saturday and an infant CPR class on Sunday. A lot of information!!! It makes the baby’s delivery seem more real. I can’t believe we’re almost at the month mark. I know that the birthing class was an eye opener for Tim. He didn’t realize how long the entire process could take. Lets hope for us it won’t be too long. It’s just the waiting game now.

i didn't experience a normal labor since cadence was breech and we had a c-section, but from what i've seen on numerous episodes of the baby story on cable, it seems to me that a lot of the times, when couples rush to the hospital at the first sign of a contraction, the labor just stops as soon as they get to the hospital...and a lot of times, once you're at the hospital, they won't let you go home...and then you're just stuck there! i can understand why labor would stop once you put yourself in a foreign, uncomfortable situation where it's hard to relax...those are the couples who often find themselves having to get pitocin or a c-section...neither is any fun, i can attest to the latter!
then there's ted's mom...her first pregnancy, she delivered the baby almost before ted's dad had a chance to finish the paperwork once they got to the hospital!
you've worked out so much during this pregnancy, i know you'll be fine no matter the length of the labor...i'll just hope that it's short anyway! but not short enough for tim to miss the delivery while on a potty break!
