President's Day

I am thankful for President's Day, it's a selfish reason. Tim didn't have to go teach so he could be at home to watch Jacob, which allowed me to go into the office.

I'm at home today with Jacob who's sitting next to me, as he's watching some Sesame Street while I can catch up on some emails. There is a guilt with having him watch it b/c we don't usually let him, but without a sitter this is our only option. The good thing is that we're only doing this for 2 more days b/c we get relief on Sunday.

Our other sitter will be here on Thursday and Friday, which is great. But next week is our last week of mini teaching and Ginny is coming! Then Tim gets a 2 week break from mini teaching and he can focus on finishing up his one class, which ends in March. He picks up another one but we can all remember how everything piles on the end of the semester.

We have made it through 5 weeks. Just this and next. Then it's the next hurdle which will come in due course.

Surviving and making it happen. Can't wait for the end of it. Soon!!!!
